GFT is seeking an Entry Level Financial Analyst to join the Financial Planning and Analysis team in Mechanicsburg, PA. This hybrid-remote role requires a minimum of 3 days onsite per week. The Strategic Services team—including HR, Legal, Accounting & Finance, Office Operations, IT, and Marketing—supports global operations and drives business transformation.
Responsibilities
- Support the senior team in extracting and validating data from the ERP during system conversion.
- Prepare monthly financial report shells and update standardized dashboards for review.
- Maintain data integrity to ensure consistent reporting across all business units.
- Assist in automating financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for management, investors, and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain financial and data models to support annual budgeting, quarterly reforecasts, project/resource planning, and long-term initiatives.
- Perform basic variance analysis (Actual vs. Budget) for assigned departments or projects.
- Troubleshoot data discrepancies between the project and general ledger.
- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or Computer Science.
- 0–3 years of accounting or financial analysis experience.
- Demonstrated interest in accounting and financial planning through internships, coursework, or related experience.
- Prior experience with Power BI or willingness to learn.
- High proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data formatting).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to manage tasks and timelines efficiently.
- Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Pay
The salary range for this role is $60,000 – $70,000, dependent on experience and geographic location.
