Entry Level - Facilities Command Center Technician
About the role
As an Operations Center Technician, you'll help maintain business continuity across Epic's global campuses by monitoring real-time alerts, managing access and security systems, and overseeing building operations from our Facilities Command Center. You'll identify and respond to issues using video feeds and system data, coordinating emergency responses when disruptions such as natural disasters or power outages occur. Working closely with internal teams and emergency services, you'll ensure a safe environment and help restore normal operations quickly and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Monitor real-time alerts from Epic's global campuses
- Manage access and security systems
- Oversee building operations from the Facilities Command Center
- Identify and respond to issues using video feeds and system data
- Coordinate emergency responses during disruptions such as natural disasters or power outages
- Work closely with internal teams and emergency services
- Ensure a safe environment and help restore normal operations quickly and effectively
Requirements
- Strong situational awareness and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, real-time environment
- Experience or interest in security operations, emergency response, or a related high-volume field
- Openness to 2nd and 3rd shift, as well as weekend days
- Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Relocation to the Madison, WI area (relocation assistance available)

Pay
Merit-based compensation will reflect the impact your work has on the company and our customers, with annual raises and bonuses as well as stock grants.
Schedule
Openness to 2nd and 3rd shift, as well as weekend days.
This position is based on our campus in Madison, WI, and requires relocation to the area. We recruit nationally and provide financial relocation assistance.
