Entry Level Drilling Rig Jobs - Pennsylvania

About the role

Precision Drilling is hiring entry‑level Floorhands (Roughnecks) for its Appalachia Division in Pennsylvania. The position supports land‑based drilling rig operations and is open to applicants from surrounding states.

Responsibilities

• Support the rig crew in daily operations.
• Handle drilling tools and pipe using manual tongs and slips.
• Assist in rig maintenance, cleaning, and organization.
• Participate in safety meetings and follow all safety guidelines.
• Attend training and development programs to enhance skills.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Recent drilling rig experience, or 2+ years of recent outdoor heavy‑labor experience for entry‑level applicants.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable vehicle.
• Pass a physical fitness test and drug/alcohol screening.
• Ability to handle 14‑day rotations and 12‑hour outdoor shifts.
• Strong work ethic with a commitment to safety and teamwork.
• Willingness to embrace Precision’s safety culture and key operating principles.

Schedule

Rotations of 14 days on‑site with 12‑hour shifts.
