Entry-Level Diesel Technician - 2nd Shift

Job Summary

The Rasmussen group is seeking an entry-level Diesel Technician to maintain heavy construction equipment and vehicles. This position offers a flexible 4-day workweek on 2nd shift for better work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
• Inspect equipment and report any issues found
• Ensure work area is safe and organized
• Work collaboratively with a skilled team in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• One year of mechanical/maintenance experience (training provided for the right candidate)
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred)
• Own necessary tools
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks

Benefits

• Base pay range: $20-25 per hour, based on experience
• Monday to Friday, 3pm - 11:30pm (flexible scheduling possible)
