Entry Level Detailer (Structural Draftsman)

Basic Job Functions: This will include: Creating construction drawings using our highly specialized softwareGenerating and verifying fabrication drawings and reportsGenerating bill of materials for field constructionDesigning and troubleshooting standardized steel framing conditions with project specific requestsEnsuring a quality product by thorough contract and design coordination Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications: Associates degree with focus in Architecture or Construction ManagementTraining or experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software such as TeklaBasic knowledge of standard construction practicesccredited training, certification, or professional experience operating Architectural CAD software or 3D Modeling software.
