Entry-Level Customer Engagement Representative

GEM is hiring an Entry-Level Customer Engagement Representative to support customer interactions, community outreach, events, and client engagement activities. This is an in-person entry-level position designed for individuals who enjoy working with people and are interested in developing professional experience in customer engagement, communication, outreach, and event support. Previous experience in customer engagement, marketing, or outreach is not required. Training is provided. Responsibilities Interact professionally with customers and community membersProvide information about client programs, services, and initiativesAnswer questions and assist customers with general requestsSupport customer engagement and community outreach activitiesParticipate in community events and promotional activitiesCommunicate clearly and professionally with customers and team membersFollow established procedures and client guidelinesWork collaboratively with team members to complete assigned responsibilitiesAttend scheduled training sessions and team meetingsMaintain a professional and positive customer experience Qualifications High school diploma or equivalentStrong verbal communication and interpersonal skillsProfessional and dependable approach to workComfortable interacting with people in personAbility to work effectively as part of a teamWillingness to learn new skills and proceduresAbility to follow instructions and complete assigned responsibilitiesPrevious customer service or customer engagement experience is helpful but not required Training and Development GEM provides training related to the responsibilities of the position. Training may include customer communication, customer engagement, community outreach, event support, teamwork, and applicable client or campaign procedures.
