Entry Level Construction Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Possessors of this role are expected to prospect and engage new customers through calls, drop-ins, networking, and outreach.
• Build relationships with facility managers, property managers, contractors, and business owners.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate fire/life safety and low voltage system solutions.
• Prepare pricing proposals including construction estimates with support from senior team members, such as reviewing construction documents and specifications.
• Support business development and client retention efforts.
• Maintain accurate activity and opportunities in the CRM.
• Collaborate closely with the construction team to support customer satisfaction and onboarding.
• Represent HCI professionally in the field, helping drive visibility and brand awareness.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in B2B sales, customer service, or a customer-facing role, or a strong interest in launching a career in construction sales.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable talking to people and initiating conversations.
• A strong work ethic and willingness to spend time in the field.
• A positive, coachable, and motivated attitude to grow in a sales career.
• An interest in fire/life safety, low voltage systems, or commercial building services.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
