Entry Level Civil Engineer

About the role

Watson Civil Construction, a leading contractor in Florida, is actively seeking Entry Level Civil Engineers to join their growing team in Jacksonville, Tampa or Orlando and the surrounding areas. This is a unique opportunity for Spring 2026 Degree Candidates to immerse themselves in a mix of field and office work, gaining exposure to all facets of the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts and specifications comprehensively
• Assist Project Managers, Superintendents, and Engineers as needed
• Prepare and manage schedules
• Report quantities and forecast project costs
• Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and the workforce to resolve project challenges
• Manage document control
• Review daily reports for accuracy and ensure compliance with project requirements

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering
• Highly motivated individuals with strong communication and leadership qualities
