The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless and positive patient experience from the very first interaction.

• Professionally manage high-volume inbound and outbound calls to schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments across various clinical specialities.
• Accurately capture and update patient demographic, insurance, and medical information in our electronic record systems.
• Provide patients with essential information regarding their appointments, including preparation instructions, clinic locations, and necessary documentation.
• Liaise effectively with clinical staff and different departments to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care.
• Address patient enquiries and resolve scheduling conflicts with empathy, patience, and a commitment to service excellence.
• Maintain strict adherence to data protection and patient confidentiality regulations.
• Utilise multiple IT systems simultaneously to manage patient information and scheduling requests.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a customer service, call centre, or administrative role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional and compassionate telephone manner.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and the ability to learn new software and scheduling platforms quickly.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A resilient and positive attitude, with a genuine desire to help people.
• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Pay

The offered compensation for this role is between $30 - $75 USD per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

This role is open to candidates residing in Ohio or Pennsylvania, United States. This is a full-time position with the flexibility of working either day or night shifts.
