Entry Level Bridge Inspector/Diver
Artheon is seeking an entry-level Bridge Inspector/Diver to join our team in Berlin, NJ. This position involves working on a variety of bridge inspection projects, including NBIS, minor, and complex bridges for clients such as NJDOT, NJ Turnpike Authority, and other agencies. The role offers a mix of office and field work, including leading on-site bridge inspections across New Jersey.

Responsibilities
- Plan, perform, and supervise underwater bridge inspections in accordance with NBI Standards and all safety guidelines.
- Demonstrate physical ability to perform field work year-round in adverse weather conditions and work around bridges, roads, rail, and tunnels.
- Utilize Microsoft Word and web-based software to update asset information and generate inspection reports.
- Utilize MicroStation or CAD software to generate field sketches.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field (preferred).
- Entry-level experience; interest in underwater inspection, bridge inspection, or structural engineering.
- ACDE Commercial Diver Certification (required).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and experienced with MicroStation or other CAD software.
- Knowledge of dive safety planning and regulations.
- Strong communication and technical writing skills.
Schedule
Position requires a minimum of 40 hours per week with the possibility of overtime (hourly).
