Entry Level Automotive Technician - North Charleston, SC

About the role

As an Entry Level Automotive Technician you will gain hands‑on experience learning how to perform basic automotive services while delivering outstanding service. You will be trained in any skills required and will have the opportunity to advance your career with Goodyear.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic automotive services such as mounting and balancing tires, tire repairs, oil changes, and filter replacements.
• Conduct automotive preventative maintenance.
• Demonstrate excellent guest service by providing clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles.
• Promote teamwork to meet guest expectations.
• Maintain strict adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation.
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods, including light and heavy lifting of tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous automotive preventative maintenance experience or previous formal automotive training.
