Entry Level - Associate Bioassay Scientist

About the role

The Associate Scientist will be part of the Bioassay team at Eurofins BPT-Columbia, contributing to research and development activities under Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines. This role involves hands-on work in a laboratory setting, including conducting, monitoring, and reporting studies to ensure data accuracy and report quality.

Responsibilities

• Completing work for research and development under GLP and GMP guidelines for studies, documentation, etc.
• Assisting in conducting, monitoring, and reporting studies to ensure data accuracy and report quality.
• Providing analytical work on projects and studies using a range of analytical techniques and instruments.
• Working with increasing independence on studies and assignments.

Qualifications

• Interest in cell, molecular, and immune assays, including cell-based assays, ELISAs, electrophoresis, WB, and PCR techniques.
• Familiarity and/or experience in a laboratory setting.
• A highly motivated staff member willing to work on a team and willing to learn new skills.
• Good organizational skills and strong communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field such as chemistry, biochemistry, biology, chemical engineering, or pharmaceutical sciences.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
