Responsibilities

  • Uses laboratory equipment and instruments with minimal supervision
  • Performs calibrations and maintains calibration records
  • Keeps detailed and complete records
  • Thinks analytically
  • Has a good sense of timeliness and cleanliness
  • Is proficient in Excel, MS Office
  • Is able to be flexible
  • Works as a team member
  • Keeps labs clean and organized

Qualifications

  • BS in a scientific area, preferably microbiology/biology
  • Knowledge of microbiology and chemistry
  • Knowledge of testing of natural products and ingredients
  • Knowledge of GMP and GLP requirements
  • Experience in environmental testing and allergen testing
  • Capable of using laboratory equipment and documentation systems
  • Able to write reports and communicate results
  • Able to work as a team member
