Entry Level Analytical Chemist- GC/LC

About the role

Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing analytical testing services across industries. Eurofins BPT-Columbia seeks an Associate Scientist (Entry Level) to join the TASC (Trace Analytical Structural Chemistry) team in Columbia, Missouri. The role involves entry‑level professional work in a laboratory setting under prescribed processes, completing R&D work under cGMP/GLP guidelines, performing analytical work with various techniques and instruments, and working with increasing independence on studies and assignments.

Responsibilities

• Complete work for research and development under cGMP and/or GLP guidelines for studies, documentation, etc.
• Provide somewhat complex analytical work on projects and studies using a range of analytical techniques and instruments.
• Work with increasing independence on studies and assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or other directly related field, or degree with comparable coursework in those areas.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Skills

• Experience with HPLC and/or GC.
• Familiarity and/or experience in a laboratory setting.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to follow direction.
• Good communication skills.

Schedule

Position is full‑time, working Monday‑Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., plus any additional hours as needed.
