Entry-Level Accountant

About The Role Reporting to Senior Accounting Manager, the Entry-Level Accountant will perform a variety of general accounting duties. The focus of this position will be daily bank reconciliation, journal entries, G/L account analysis and reconciliation, and maintain various schedules for month end closing. The Entry-Level Accountant is required to get the job done in a timely manner, ensuring meet all deadline. In addition, the Entry-Level Accountant is responsible for maintaining accounting records in an orderly manner. Responsibilities And Essential Functions Perform daily bank reconciliationMaintain various schedules for month end closingPrepare and enter adjusting journal entries, prepaid and accrual as neededBe responsible for GL account reconciliation and analysis for subsidiary companiesReconcile internal subsidiary financials with outside accounting firmAssist outside accounting firm with reconciliation, work papers as neededMaintain various accounting records for the interim and the year end auditSupport to staff and other employees in invoices coding, ensure proper GL codingPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Excellent use of Microsoft Office Word and Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)Strong analytical and problem solving skillsDetailed oriented and organizedAbility to work independently and in a team environmentStrong communication skillAbility to work in a confidential manner due to access to sensitive informationKnowledge of SAP preferred Competencies Bachelor’s degree in accounting1-3 years of experience in a similar role About ZT Systems At ZT Systems, a Sanmina Company, you’ll get to do work you are proud of alongside smart, passionate people.
