Responsibilities
- Manage touring client travel requirements, while anticipating and understanding individual client preferences and needs.
- Analyze all inquiries and requests received from clients and decide on the best options to offer.
- Formulate logistical itinerary plans to deliver practical travel solutions, ensuring that budgets and specific requirements are met.
- Fully service all inquiries, requests, bookings, and ticketing with the highest standards and quality documentation.
- Ensure all air, rail, hotel, and/or other ancillary reservations meet company and client expectations.
- Report, investigate, and resolve errors and client complaints, adhering to the highest standards of customer service.
- Ensure the company does not incur any financial losses through individual and avoidable errors.
- Negotiate the best rates and deals from vendors to reduce client expenditure.
- Assess all potential revenue and income streams for maximum company profitability.
- Process administrative tasks, including but not limited to accounting queries from both the client and Finance department through to final reconciliation.
- Complete all TAG desktop files and respond to all communications proactively, promptly, efficiently, and accurately.
- Ensure all PNR entries in GDS are correct and fully completed.
- Action all required tasks related to clients and/or suppliers in a timely and effective manner to ensure correct information is readily available for continuity of service for all team members.
- Create and update movement and flight sheets and ensure all Touring procedures are followed consistently.
- Ensure proactivity and organization of Outlook inbox, TAG desktop tasks and GDS queries.
- Good understanding and knowledge of all aspects of Touring.
- Adhere to PCI regulations in accordance with Company policy.
- Aids in training of new team members at Coordinator and Specialist level.
- Assists in building excellent working relationships with key vendors relevant to TAG’s client base and supports the PSP program.
- Maintains good client and supplier relationships and retains accounts and agreements, ensuring the highest standards and levels of service are delivered at all times with a personalized and individual approach to each client.
- Shares business opportunities and leads with the Sales team.
- Suggests improved practices to ensure departmental operations run successfully and profitably, and brings ideas for improvement to the line manager’s attention.
- Completes any other general and accounting administrative tasks as required.
- Maximizes all possible income streams, including commission and override opportunities with all suppliers.
- Timely communication of any issues or concerns to the team and team supervisor.
- Attends on- and off-site supplier functions as required to keep up-to-date product knowledge.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree (Preferred)
- In lieu of education, an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience within a travel agency.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of airfares, contracted fares, ticketing, and reissues.
- GDS experience (Galileo preferred).
- Versed in booking flights, hotels, and have a good understanding of published airfares.
- Experience handling VIP, entertainment clients, and/or group travel (Preferred).
Pay
Pay Range: $66,300 - $77,000 per year
