About the role
The Entertainment Marketing Manager serves as the liaison between the Entertainment and Marketing Departments, overseeing all aspects of asset acquisition, creation, development, implementation, and management of entertainment marketing and communication plans.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain entertainment media plans to meet revenue objectives.
- Develop, implement, and execute public relations and advertising plans for entertainment.
- Build and deploy daily ticket reports tracking and monitoring ticket sales.
- Manage and communicate sales forecasts, expectations, and ensure successful results during the artist's on-sale period.
- Coordinate, schedule, and initiate work orders for all entertainment events, including lounge entertainment and headline entertainment.
- Work with Entertainment Managers to build events in Ticketmaster and monitor sales for all ticketed entertainment events.
- Attend all entertainment meetings as Marketing representative and communicate pertinent information.
- Attend ticketed shows as requested by Entertainment Manager or Director of Entertainment.
- Coordinate with external vendors and internal departments to ensure event efficiency and partnership related to entertainment.
- Upload all marketing materials into the database and track additional requests from artist's agency or management team, as well as the Company's marketing and entertainment departments.
- Purchase and manage all artist deliverables from vendors such as BYP or TourDesign.
- Seek out contacts and maintain open lines of communication with talent buyers, agents, and artist management to obtain assets and necessary approvals to ensure marketing deadlines are met.
- Coordinate promotional opportunities related to entertainment at all three properties.
- Coordinate, schedule, and initiate TV and radio requests for all entertainment events.
- Manage the master list of entertainment for marketing, including fact sheets.
- Strategically create plans and partner with marketing teams to optimize and leverage results.
- Provide excellent guest service.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required, B.A. in Marketing preferred.
- Minimum of 2-4 years marketing experience and/or entertainment management experience.
- Excellent organizational skills, time management skills, and ability to work with all departments.
- Excellent customer relation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, and familiar with Mac OS and current Windows platforms.
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Artist promoter experience is a plus.
- Experience with Ticketmaster, Pollstar, and Rostr is a plus.
