Description Job Overview: The Entertainment Center Attendant will provide services to the bowling alley, cinema and arcade. The Attendant will also oversee the overall presentation of the all three areas of the Entertainment Center. The Attendant provides excellent customer service by greeting customers as well as addressing any questions or concerns they may have about the operation for the venues. Duties and Responsibilities: Maintains the bowling lanes; Including stripping, oiling, and finishing with the use of a Brunswick floor machineLearns and oversees the maintenance of the Vector scoring system, troubleshoots the scoring system, and understands how the scorer components function and interconnectProcesses cash transactions by accepting money and making necessary change; Checks identification for age restricted moviesHandles arcade redemptions; Repairs minor malfunctionsWorks all necessary equipment throughout the Entertainment CenterPerforms preventative maintenance in all venuesEnsures that all Entertainment Center venues stays in a clean and sanitized fashionDisplays attentive, upbeat, and enthusiastic behavior during each and every interaction with all guestsStands and walks, continuously, throughout the entire shiftCleans outlet areas, including counter tops, display shelves, storage areas and lounge areas on a continuous basisWalks up and down stairs continuously throughout shiftsAddresses and solves any concerns and questions customers may haveHas and maintains a stable, positive background, and assumes responsibilityAdheres to all company standards and operating policiesAssumes special projects as needed at the direction of the immediate supervisorOther duties and responsibilities as assigned Job Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying) High School diploma or GED preferred or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within six (6) months from start date as a condition of continued employment or currently enrolled in a qualified learning institutionMust be sixteen (16) years of age or olderOne (1) year cash handling experience – Preferred Must successfully pass job interview, including a guest service auditionMust be able to lift and carry thirty (30) poundsMust be able to respond to visual and oral cuesMust be able to work independently and as part of a teamMust be able to deal effectively with diverse departments and have flexibility to work in an ever-changing environmentMust be able to walk or stand for entirety of shiftAbility to adequately and successfully perform all aspects of this positionMust possess a high level of maturity, dependability, and punctualityDemonstrated ability to communicate, in English, effectively both verbally and in writing, and understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formatsWilling to work odd and irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidaysWilling to travel and participate in training as recommended or requiredMust have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this positionMust have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment NATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN PREFERENCE IN HIRING POLICY SHALL BE ADHERED TO AT ALL TIMES Complaints about the recruitment or selection process for employment should be directed in writing to the office of the President and CEO of Wind Creek Hospitality.
