Enterprise Workstation Systems Engineer – Multiple Offices (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

• Ensure stable and optimally performing physical and virtual workstation, desktop, and mobile environments.
• Support software and hardware release processes and quality assurance for physical and virtual workstation, desktop, and mobile environments.
• Provide Level 3 operational support to the physical and virtual workstation, Desktop, Citrix, and Mobile platforms.
• Support the implementation of new workstation, desktop, and mobile technologies.
• Install and configure Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) technologies including host pools, AVD images, scaling and FSLogix.
• Analyze system performance indicators and recommend improvement actions for AVD based production configuration.
• Administer desktop and mobile device management platforms.
• Engineer, deploy, configure, and manage endpoints using Microsoft SCCM and Intune.
• Develop reports to track key workstation, desktop, virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), mobile, and AVD metrics and KPIs.
• Script and automate supporting physical and virtual workstation, desktop, and mobile platforms.
• Test Windows workstation and iOS mobile releases to recommend optimum configuration.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) and Microsoft Intune for endpoint deployment and device management.
• In-depth experience providing operational support of physical and virtual workstation, desktop, and mobile devices.
• Demonstrated experience with user support.
• Demonstrated experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), MSIX and FSLogix.
• Demonstrated experience with Azure virtual machine golden image (for AVD) creation, maintenance and workflows.
• Advanced experience with Windows and iOS workstation, desktop, and mobile software and hardware.
• Experience supporting release management.
• Demonstrated experience with mobile device management.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft stack including: Office, Active Directory, Azure, Microsoft 365, scripting and automation.
• Advanced experience with Windows workstation and desktop user profile management.
