About the role
The Enterprise Architect supports PACOM in developing, documenting, and analyzing enterprise, operational, and system architectures for Department of Defense (DOD) combatant command headquarters.
Responsibilities
- Develops and documents enterprise, operational, and system architectures in compliance with DODAF/UAF standards.
- Works with functional subject matter experts to collect and describe operational and system processes, nodes, activities, inputs, controls, outputs, and mechanisms.
- Prepares, staffs, and publishes formal Command architecture documents, and produces architecture development plans and reports.
- Conducts Architecture Branch staff actions such as tasks, papers, briefings, etc., as required.
- Identifies mission capability gaps, overlaps, and shortfalls by researching, developing, and analyzing PACOM’s as-is and to-be architectures.
- Determines and recommends architectural, IT, or process solutions to address identified gaps.
- Documents and assesses PACOM’s transition to a data-centric command environment, ensuring compliance with JADC2 RA/RD.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and nine (9) years' experience; four (4) additional years of experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
- Experience with architecture tools and UML.
- Working knowledge of DoDAF, UAF, and other relevant DoD architecture and strategic planning instructions.
- Advanced Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills for report and presentation creation.
- Production of DODAF-compliant war fighter domain architectures.
- Exposure to Cyberwarfare concepts is a plus.
Qualifications
- Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
- Current US Citizen.
Pay
$160,001 - $200,000
Schedule
Full-time, day shift; travel up to 10% of the time.
