About the role
This position performs entry-level analytical staffing support, generating and preparing system-wide enterprise staffing analysis, tracking, and executing strategic staffing plans to meet business needs. The role efficiently balances staffing requests with available resources under tight deadlines and conflicting priorities, with a system-based impact on patient throughput across multiple facilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide system enterprise scheduling and placement support requiring system timecard editor access.
- Process staffing requests, including workforce staffing platform and human resource employee platform tasks.
- Receive requests, prepare postings if applicable, and follow the life cycle of the staffing request through placement completion.
- Assist with audits and compliance reporting.
- Evaluate daily workforce needs at a high-functioning, multi-tasking level within time-sensitive prioritization.
- Collaborate with multiple departments and teams throughout the system.
- Attend system staffing huddles.
- Execute compliance reporting and provide data for shift eligibility and payroll incentives.
- Serve as the centralized information resource, directing and fielding calls, emails, and general support for registry team members.
- Perform administrative services, including answering telephone calls, responding to high-volume emails, and communicating through group chat channels.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent education.
- Two or more years of generalized HR or related area work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task workload in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional manner.
- Ability to follow oral and written directions related to job functions.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills to interact with department personnel and assist customers.
- Working knowledge of personal software packages to perform job functions.
- Significant use of computer and phone devices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree.
- Additional related education and/or experience.
Schedule
4/10s – 7:00 AM–5:30 PM (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday), with rotating holidays and occasional weekends. Training spans several weeks with varying shifts, including potential PM shift times during precepting.
