Enterprise Solutions Engineer
Position Summary
The Enterprise Solutions Engineer partners with teams across Mevion to identify opportunities where Artificial Intelligence, intelligent automation, and emerging technologies can accelerate innovation and improve business outcomes. This position combines software engineering, AI development, automation, systems integration, data analysis, and creative problem solving to rapidly prototype and deploy solutions that enhance productivity, improve decision making, and support Mevion's mission.
Essential Functions
Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications, assistants, agents, and workflow automations.
Rapidly prototype innovative solutions using modern AI platforms and emerging technologies.
Build integrations between AI solutions and enterprise systems including Microsoft 365, Salesforce, SharePoint, Jira, and other business applications.
Develop internal knowledge assistants, intelligent search solutions, and AI-enabled business tools.
Evaluate new AI technologies and recommend practical applications across the organization.
Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Service, Sales, Quality, Operations, Finance, HR, and other business functions to identify opportunities for innovation.
Analyze business processes and recommend technology solutions that improve efficiency and user experience.
Participate in brainstorming, proof-of-concept development, and pilot projects.
Demonstrate solutions to stakeholders and incorporate user feedback into future iterations.
Share knowledge and promote AI adoption through documentation, presentations, and collaboration.
Develop software using modern programming languages and development practices.
Integrate APIs and third-party platforms into AI-enabled solutions.
Maintain code repositories, documentation, and development standards.
Assist in evaluating enterprise AI platforms, development frameworks, and emerging technologies.
Support governance, security, and responsible AI practices in solution design.
Education, Training, And Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline preferred.
Strong technical foundation in software development, data analysis, and problem solving.
Experience developing software using one or more modern programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar.
Familiarity with AI technologies, APIs, cloud platforms, or software integration is desirable.
Experience with technologies such as Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Agents, Model Context Protocol (MCP), LangChain, Semantic Kernel, vector databases, or similar technologies is a plus but not required.
Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing technical environments.

Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
