Enterprise Solution Architect

Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining end-to-end system service offerings, enabled by appropriate system orchestration, integration, and automation solutions. Continually investigates emerging technologies and provides recommendations on which architecture best addresses the client’s changing needs.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy dynamically scalable, available, fault-tolerant, and reliable applications on the infrastructure
  • Create isolated, safe, and disposable infrastructure that can support models in production
  • Enable cloud platform resources to enable data scientists, engineers, and deployed use cases
  • Develop tools to access, integrate, model, and visualize data (generating reproducible and containerized code)
  • Develop / customize, test, deploy, and document orchestration solutions based on cloud orchestration requirements identified with cloud architects & infrastructure engineers
  • Conduct client workshops and presentations to demonstrate the value and capabilities of proposed solutions
  • Provide ongoing technical support and consultancy to clients throughout the project lifecycle
  • Conduct proof-of-concept projects to test and validate new technologies

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of varied experience in data and solution architecture, with a focus on designing and implementing technology solutions
  • One Solution Architect Certification from any of the big 3 cloud providers (Azure, AWS, Google)
  • Hands-on knowledge of all leading data platforms such as Snowflake, Data Fabrics, MS Fabric
  • Knowledge of applications services in AWS (EC2, ECS) and Azure Container Apps, Azure App service
  • Experience with identifying providers such as Entra, AWS Identity Center, SCIM
  • Familiarity with agile and DevOps tools and practices; experience of leading scrums with DevOps team
  • Experience as a Cloud, DevOps, or SRE Engineer on a cross-functional agile team

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of all main ETL tools such as Informatica, Azure Data Factory, Glue, Fortran
  • Know-how of Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform, Biceps, Cloud formation
  • Experience with AI frameworks: Azure Foundry Open AI, AWS Bedrock, LlamaIndex, CosmoDB

Skills

  • Hands-on knowledge of applications services in AWS (EC2, ECS) and Azure Container Apps, Azure App service
  • Can explain, configure, debug networking and routing issues: DNS, Routes, Proxy
  • Experience in an analytics consulting environment is preferred
