About the role
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer who will be responsible for system administration, maintenance, upgrades, installation, test, integration, and configuration of VLP/LF/MF/HF/VHF/UHF/Wireless SIGINT survey, collection and geo-location systems and software to include prototypes, development, operational testing, test, and labs systems and products.
A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
Experience
Twelve (12) years' experience with software and system deployments, Linux system admin, containerization, cloud deployments, DevSecOps; Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science; or may substitute four (4) years' experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree; or may substitute two (2) years' experience with MS in Engineering or CS.
Responsibilities
- Performing network services from network design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of existing networks
- LAN/CAN/WAN administration
- Experience with both Arista and Cisco network devices
- Configuring and optimizing the network to connect various front-end and back-end components
- Designing solutions, integrating, configuring, deploying, testing and providing ongoing maintenance for numerous types of network devices
- Strong Linux (RHEL/CentOS) administration and troubleshooting
- Building and maintaining pipelines with tools like Jenkins or GitLab
- Infrastructure as code (IaC) using Ansible or Terraform
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for software deployment
- Managing and configuring Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security
- Management and monitoring of hybrid cloud/virtualized environments
- Travel for information system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- 24/7 call-in support for operational system critical discrepancies
Requirements
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Bash
- Recent experience within the last three (3) years in Kubernetes
- Recent experience within the last three (3) years in cluster orchestration
- Recent experience within the last three (3) years in containerization
- Active IAT II CWIP / DoD 8570 compliant certification (i.e., Security+)
- CCNA certification

Pay
The expected salary range for this position, depending on education and years of experience, is $250,000 - $275,000.
