Multi-Cloud DevOps Engineer, Senior
About the role
The Opportunity: As a DevOps engineer, you know how to set up cloud environments and provision computer networking, storage, and virtual networks—ultimately, how to “harness the cloud.” We’re looking for an experienced DevOps infrastructure engineer like you to support our clients as they modernize their IT infrastructures and meet their most challenging missions. As a DevOps infrastructure engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll work closely with cloud architects and engineers to manage server configuration for modern cloud solutions. You’ll apply your skills within a DevOps framework to establish or provision virtual machines or networks and use cloud service providers to further your clients’ meaningful missions.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with cloud architects and engineers to manage server configuration for modern cloud solutions
- Apply your skills within a DevOps framework to establish or provision virtual machines or networks
- Use cloud service providers to further your clients’ meaningful missions
- Work in our internal innovative labs to further your skills and explore different ways of solving our clients’ challenges
- Help to develop, deploy, or manage IT infrastructures for crucial server and network components
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Cloud, DevOps, or system administration
- 2+ years of experience with AWS such as EC2, Lambda, SQS, or SNS
- 2+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform
- 2+ years of experience with Configuration as Code such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
- 2+ years of experience creating CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins
- 2+ years of experience with Linux Administration and Windows Administration
- 2+ years of experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
- 2+ years of experience using task management software such as Jira
Qualifications
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- HS diploma or GED
Skills
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Experience with Azure
- Experience managing Oracle Database instances
- Experience with on-premise server management
- Experience with VMWare
- Experience with Citrix

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD).
Schedule
Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
