Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Technical Manager - Metropolitan Council

About the role

The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Technical Manager will lead the ERP Technical Team and oversee the strategy, implementation, support, optimization, and modernization of the organization's enterprise resource planning environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the ERP Technical Team in strategy, implementation, support, optimization, and modernization of the ERP environment.
• Drive ERP transformation initiatives to ensure successful project delivery, including cloud deployments, integrations, upgrades, and migrations from legacy ERP systems to a modern ERP platform.
• Partner with business and technology leaders to align ERP capabilities with organizational goals and future growth strategies.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading ERP teams and managing complex ERP implementations.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems, including cloud-based solutions.
• Experience with ERP system upgrades, migrations, and integrations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in ERP management and implementation.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.

Skills

• Strong technical knowledge of ERP systems and cloud technologies.
• Experience with ERP system upgrades, migrations, and integrations.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
