Enterprise Project Manager - Consultant
About the role
This position supports the agency's project management and governance functions, including implementation of the new Project Management System, portfolio oversight, dashboard reporting, user training, and stakeholder support. As the PWA is decommissioned, the role will provide expertise in system implementation, project visibility, organizational change management, and leadership of strategic projects aligned with the South Carolina Department of Public Health.
Location: Cayce, SC. Duration: 1 Year. Position is newly opened to manage a software implementation in the PMO Division. Interview process: 2 rounds of virtual interviews. Work location: hybrid, with onsite expectations ranging from once per month to once per quarter as needed. Candidates must be current South Carolina residents; relocation not allowed. W-2 status required; must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.

Requirements
- 15+ Years of Experience with Project Management
- 10+ Years of Experience with State or Federal IT Projects
- 10+ Years of Experience with implementing Project Management Systems
- 8+ Years of Experience creating Power BI Dashboards
- 10+ Years of Experience with Change Management
- Experience with Public Health Software Implementations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Business Administration
- Required certification: PMP or CSM
- Preferred certification: CompTIA A+
