Develop and execute strategies to scale delivery excellence across Slalom’s growing Enterprise practice, impacting how Salesforce and ServiceNow teams manage engagements and provide transformational delivery leadership globally. Play a key role in creating meaningful work for consultants.
Responsibilities
- Build and lead a team to influence, enable, and scale delivery roles and teams across Slalom, ensuring consistent and high-quality delivery.
- Drive continuity in Enterprise engagement management and delivery methodology for all global practitioners.
- Capture best practices and develop case studies and core deliverables to build solution offerings.
- Shape the job description, qualifications, and brand of Enterprise Delivery practitioners.
- Engage directly with senior client stakeholders as an Accountable Executive or Engagement Lead on transformational engagements, managing engagement risk, project financials, accounts receivable, deliverable content, and securing buy-in from top management.
- Perform active management and oversight of large-scale, complex software delivery projects and programs.
- Ensure successful adoption of delivery methodology by working with local teams.
- Build collaborative relationships across Slalom, including local market leadership, Build, and other lines of business.
- Provide guidance, coaching, mentoring, and day-to-day direction for direct reports; handle performance feedback and annual review processes.
- Lead business development opportunities, including writing Statements of Work (SOWs) and presenting solutions to prospective clients.
- Support recruitment, selection, staffing, and onboarding of consultants; assist in qualifying opportunities and assessing project fit.
- Promote and influence employee and leader development by creating opportunities for career progression.
- Maintain 75-85% target utilization at the designated enterprise client account.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.
- Potentially serve as a People Manager for individuals within Salesforce Delivery.
Requirements
- 15+ years of consulting experience in delivery leadership, including roles such as Program Lead or Engagement Lead for complex, iterative software development projects.
- 5+ years of experience leading capabilities and/or groups of 50+ individuals distributed nationally and/or globally.
- 5+ years of experience selling and delivering business solutions on the Salesforce or ServiceNow platform; demonstrated ability to articulate delivery approaches for projects of varying sizes and scales.
- Experience in all phases of product development, software development, and testing lifecycles.
- Experience managing established technology and product departments with mature program management processes for both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience recruiting and building teams, with a strong history of mentoring others.
- Demonstrated professional growth and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Familiarity with delivery governance and status tracking tools to support oversight and quality assurance on a global project portfolio.
- Proven track record of writing RFPs and SOWs, reviewing proposals with clients, and negotiating contracts.
- Expertise in business operations (e.g., invoicing, SOWs, margins, utilization).
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including client-facing interactions.
- Expert in Agile software delivery methodologies: Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, XP, and Lean.
- Passion for building Salesforce and other software solutions using state-of-the-art technology.
- Ability to embrace challenging situations and solve complex problems.
- Expertise in project delivery, including all aspects of program management and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Excellent mentoring and leadership skills.

Pay
Targeted base pay salary ranges:
- San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange County, Seattle:
- Principal: $174,000–$213,000
- Senior Principal: $204,000–$249,000
- All other locations:
- Principal: $160,000–$195,000
- Senior Principal: $187,000–$228,000
Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation depends on skills, experience, qualifications, and location. The salary pay range is subject to change.
