Enterprise Network Solutions Architect

About the role

Sentinel is seeking a Solutions Architect to join their team. This role is designed for individuals with expertise in enterprise networking and security, capable of designing comprehensive solutions that integrate multiple products and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain subject matter expertise in at least two (usually more) technology, architecture, or delivery platforms.
• Diagram, whiteboard, or sketch technology discussions live and "on the fly" with customers and peers.
• Lead discovery discussions with customers to define project scope.
• Create designs for customer projects resulting from these discussions.
• Able to present technology briefings to both sales and customer audiences, focusing on specific needs of different groups.
• Author detailed, technically accurate professional services scopes of work, including customer requirements, project caveats, customer and VAR roles and responsibilities.
• Aid the sales team in demand generation, opportunity qualification, and completing the sales cycle.
• Build solution and technology accurate Bill of Materials for customer projects across diverse manufacturer or technology areas, including ongoing service and support SKUs.
• Previous experience in a technology-focused field such as presales or operations is preferred.
• IT certifications such as Cisco CCNP and CCIE, Fortinet NSE and Palo NSP and NSA are preferred.
• Show strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to develop social bonds and build emotional intelligence (EQ).
• Demonstrate experience designing and architecting enterprise networking, data center networking, and security solutions from multiple manufacturers including Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and HPE (Aruba and Mist).
• Have a high-level understanding of Data Center and Collaboration architectures, and be able to compare/contrast offerings between multiple manufacturers.
• Experience scoping professional services for project delivery is required.

• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Must demonstrate a "can-do" attitude.
• Must have a car, as this position requires travel between locations and the transportation of equipment.
• A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance are required.
• Must pass a background check as part of the employment process.
