About the role
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a transition manager and cross-functional team leader responsible for transitioning Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) solutions and overall oversight of an AF-level EIT Service solutions across all Air Force portfolios.
Responsibilities
- Leads development and deployment of IT service request workflows within ServiceNow, establishing how the Department of the Air Force (DAF) routes IT requests for approval and implementation from 850K users.
- Ensures effective asset management and EIT Service oversight is performed within the DAF EITSM system.
- Knowledgeable in requirements analysis, assessing capabilities of systems relative to established requirements, and determining impacts to related/dependent systems.
- Keen on understanding trends in present and emerging IT systems and programs.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship Required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate Secret security clearance.
- Drug Testing: This is a designated Drug Testing Position. Must be able to obtain and maintain Information Assurance certification within 6 months of assigned duties.
- Knowledge of IT systems management, oversight, performance management, and of hardware operation, configuration, policies, and procedures.
- Knowledge of the process of requirements analysis, assessing capabilities of systems relative to established requirements and determining impacts to related/dependent systems.
- Knowledge of trends in present and emerging, state-of-the-art of IT systems and programs.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of, a wide range of IT systems, principles, facilities, procedures, practices, and methodology, such as those found in Government and industry (Enterprise IT Service Management (EITSM) system (ServiceNow)).
- Knowledge of IT systems management, oversight, performance management, and of hardware operation, configuration, policies, and procedures.
- Knowledge of the process of requirements analysis, assessing capabilities of systems relative to established requirements and determining impacts to related/dependent systems.
- Knowledge of trends in present and emerging, state-of-the-art of IT systems and programs.
