About the role

The Field Engineer serves as a technical advisor and champion for CodeRabbit customers. They partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to help customers appreciate the value of CodeRabbit's AI-driven code review system.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Account Executives to understand customer requirements and develop customized technical solutions
  • Translate business objectives into technical requirements and solution designs
  • Drive compelling demos and impactful Proof of Values (PoVs) to effectively showcase the value of the CodeRabbit platform
  • Help in responding to security questionnaires
  • Habitually provide feedback and collaborate cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to address customer issues with a focus on improving the product experience
  • Stay abreast with industry trends, and emerging technologies in AI-powered development tools and platforms
  • Contribute towards improvement of internal tools and documentation of playbooks, guides, and best practices
  • Support transition from pre-sales to post-sales to ensure a smooth customer onboarding experience

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role with 2+ years in a dynamic, fast-paced, startup-like environment
  • Experience working with diverse stakeholders, from technical teams to business leaders
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple customer needs simultaneously
  • Strong experience with software development tools and platforms
  • Comfortable working with commandline
  • Knowledge in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong sense of ownership, self-motivation, and eagerness to acquire new skills to solve new problems
  • Willingness to uplevel the knowledge and skills of your peers through mentorship, trainings, and shadowing

Qualifications

  • Experience in container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes), infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform), CI/CD tools (e.g. Github Actions) is a plus

Pay

OTE for this role is $195k-250k. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location.
