Enterprise Depot Technician

Position Summary

The Depot has four main areas of operations: Shipping, Receiving and Storage, IT Excessing, and Imaging and Configuration. The contractor shall assist with validating, inspecting, and inventorying equipment, tracking changes of hardware attributes, assisting with unboxing, re-boxing, and labeling. They will also process IT Excessing, including sorting, sanitizing, and preparing devices for auction, donation, or destruction. Additionally, they will image and configure Windows-based devices, and assist with refurbishment of equipment under warranty.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Warehousing and equipment distribution services
• Storing, shipping, and receiving IT equipment assets, including workstations, laptops, tablets, thin client devices, mobile devices, and other devices/peripherals
• Imaging, installing, and configuring operating systems and software
• Inventorying, monitoring, and tracking customer deliveries and returns
• Processing IT Excessing, including sanitizing and preparing devices for auction, donation, or destruction
• Assisting with refurbishment of equipment under warranty

Required Skills and Experience

• Proficient in reading and effective communication in English
• Familiarity with basic math and personal computer use
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and walk for most of the day
• Capability to lift and carry moderately heavy material (up to 50 lbs.)
