Depot Service Technician

Schedule

• 1st Shift, Monday to Friday (start time between 6:30am and 7:30am)
• Overtime based on business needs

Responsibilities

• Perform testing and troubleshooting on MAKO robotic systems and components
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair electro-mechanical equipment and assemblies
• Support refurbishment and repair of robotic parts for field operations
• Test motors, encoders, brakes, instruments, and other robotic components
• Assist with continuous improvement of service procedures and technical documentation
• Partner with manufacturing and service engineers on repairs and process enhancements
• Complete a variety of technical and operational tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, work instructions, and FDA regulations
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while performing inspections and testing
• Participate in ongoing technical training and development programs to build robotic repair expertise

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of professional experience
• Ability to lift or maneuver up to 65 pounds
• Experience operating hand tools and power tools
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel)

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree (preferred)
• At least 2 years of experience with conducting mechanical troubleshooting and reading/following work instructions (preferred)
• Experience with: soldering, pinning & crimping, ESD handling/knowledge & electrical circuit testing, transmission cabling, system testing & system troubleshooting (preferred)
• Experience utilizing software systems such as inventory tracking software, Trackwise, Windchill OnePLM, and/or SAP (preferred)

Pay

$21.58 - $29.20 USD Hourly
