About the role

We are looking for an Enterprise Business Development Manager – Consumer, Retail & Food to join BSI’s Global Key Accounts team. This role is focused on creating new enterprise partnerships with leading global brands across consumer products, retail, food, manufacturing and supply chain environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new enterprise opportunities across Consumer, Retail and Food sectors.
  • Target strategic global organisations and create relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Build and manage a high-quality pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Understand client priorities and translate them into strategic solutions across BSI’s portfolio.
  • Create account pursuit strategies focused on long-term growth potential.
  • Identify opportunities across multiple business units, geographies and decision makers.
  • Partner with BSI subject matter experts to create innovative client solutions.
  • Influence senior stakeholders through insight-led conversations.
  • Maintain strong CRM discipline and opportunity governance.
  • Work collaboratively across global teams to maximise client impact.

Essential

  • Strong background in enterprise sales, business development or strategic new business roles.
  • Proven ability to acquire new clients and create opportunities independently.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with senior executives.
  • Ability to understand business challenges and create commercially compelling solutions.
  • Experience working across international or matrix organisations.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for winning new business.

Highly desirable

  • Experience working with or selling into Consumer Goods, Retail, Food & Beverage, FMCG or Manufacturing organisations.
  • Understanding of sector priorities such as sustainability, responsible sourcing, supply chain risk, quality or compliance.
  • Experience selling consulting, certification, assurance or advisory solutions.
  • Established senior relationships across CRF organisations.

Pay

The advertised salary range reflects the level, scope and responsibilities of the role. Starting salary within that range will be determined based on experience, skills, market considerations and alignment with internal equity principles. Salary Range US = $102,000 - $127,500 + Commission
