About the role
The Enterprise Architect is responsible for defining IT solutions to business, clinical, and research challenges via architectures, systems, applications and process components with the integration of a variety of applications, diverse hardware, software components and information / data analytics.
Responsibilities
- Defines and implements a complementary IT systems architecture strategy aligned with the organization's goals.
- Maintains a broad view and understanding of the organization's software ecosystem landscape.
- Safeguards adherence to the organization's architecture governance and application development methodology and parameters.
- Provides a holistic view of IT that encompasses networking, server hardware, operating systems, virtualization, data storage, appliances, end user devices, cloud environments, information security, Bio-Med equipment, Clinical applications, and productivity suites.
- Works collaboratively with the architecture team to create and review design, SOW, proposal, project charter, SBAR, PO, procedures, and standards documentation.
- Requires three days on-site (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) at Temple Health Women's and Families Hospital.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
- 2 years of architectural experience or previous experience in design and decisioning across multiple disciplines of IT
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Networking (routing, switching, firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto), DNS, and network topology)
- Previous experience in healthcare IT
