Enterprise Architect

About the role

The Enterprise Architect is responsible for defining IT solutions to business, clinical, and research challenges via architectures, systems, applications and process components with the integration of a variety of applications, diverse hardware, software components and information / data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Defines and implements a complementary IT systems architecture strategy aligned with the organization's goals.
• Maintains a broad view and understanding of the organization's software ecosystem landscape.
• Safeguards adherence to the organization's architecture governance and application development methodology and parameters.
• Provides a holistic view of IT that encompasses networking, server hardware, operating systems, virtualization, data storage, appliances, end user devices, cloud environments, information security, Bio-Med equipment, Clinical applications, and productivity suites.
• Works collaboratively with the architecture team to create and review design, SOW, proposal, project charter, SBAR, PO, procedures, and standards documentation.
• Requires three days on-site (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) at Temple Health Women's and Families Hospital.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
• 2 years of architectural experience or previous experience in design and decisioning across multiple disciplines of IT

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Networking (routing, switching, firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto), DNS, and network topology)
• Previous experience in healthcare IT
