Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture standards, best practices, technology roadmaps, and governance processes.
- Partner with business and IT leadership to align technology initiatives with organizational objectives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on enterprise technology decisions and strategic planning efforts.
- Lead architecture reviews for new projects, technology implementations, and major system enhancements.
- Evaluate solution designs across applications, integrations, cloud platforms, infrastructure, security, and data architecture.
- Ensure solutions align with architectural standards, security requirements, and long-term technology strategy.
- Identify architectural risks, scalability concerns, technical debt, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support cloud adoption, platform modernization, system integrations, and enterprise transformation initiatives.
- Research and assess emerging technologies, providing recommendations that enhance business capabilities and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with executives, technical teams, vendors, and external partners to drive successful outcomes.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear business recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Mentor engineering and architecture teams while promoting enterprise architecture best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 10+ years of experience in software development, infrastructure, cloud technologies, and solution architecture.
- 5+ years of experience serving as an technical leadership role.
- Proven experience leading architecture governance, enterprise technology planning, and strategic decision-making.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise applications, APIs, system integrations, cloud platforms, infrastructure, security, identity management, and data architecture.
- Experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale solutions in complex environments.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, API-first architectures, event-driven architectures, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM), security-by-design principles, SaaS platforms, and application modernization strategies.
- Experience evaluating third-party solutions, vendors, and technology platforms.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage executives, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
- Must be able to work Hawaii Standard Time (HST) business hours.
