About the role
At IT Labs, we are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to support one of the most innovative companies in the digital health space. Our client is transforming the way healthcare is delivered, paid for, and experienced through a technology-driven platform that connects employers and patients with top-tier medical providers.
Responsibilities
- Define, own, and enforce enterprise architecture standards and governance across the organization
- Act as the primary architecture liaison to C-suite and executive stakeholders
- Translate complex technical strategies and risks into clear, business-friendly language
- Develop and maintain the enterprise technology roadmap
- Ensure integration and standardization across platforms, systems, and cloud environments
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies aligned with business and innovation goals
- Own and manage architectural risk across the enterprise
- Lead architecture reviews and approve key design decisions
- Support compliance with regulatory and security requirements including HIPAA
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams — DevOps, Data, Engineering, Security — to guide architecture decisions
- Mentor solution architects and technical leads
- Foster a culture of architectural innovation and best practices
Requirements
- Proven experience in enterprise architecture governance and standards enforcement
- Strong background in strategic IT planning and technology roadmapping
- Deep knowledge of cloud architecture across AWS and Azure
- Experience with application architecture, data architecture, and systems integration
- Solid grasp of DevOps and Agile methodologies
- Experience managing technology risk and mitigation at an enterprise level
- Ability to drive regulatory and security compliance — especially HIPAA
- Demonstrated ability to align IT strategy with business goals and digital transformation objectives
- Excellent communication and executive stakeholder management skills
- Experience mentoring and leading technical teams
Qualifications
