Application Engineering

Design distributed, cloud-native, and service-oriented applications.
Create architecture for APIs, microservices, event-driven systems, and enterprise integration platforms.
Guide development teams in implementing scalable and resilient software solutions.
Define reusable application frameworks, shared services, and design patterns.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to improve CI/CD pipelines and application deployment strategies.

Cloud & Integration

Design hybrid and cloud-based application architectures utilizing Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
Architect secure API integrations with internal and external systems.
Design messaging and integration solutions using REST, SOAP, GraphQL, event streaming, and messaging platforms.
Lead application migration initiatives from legacy platforms to modern cloud architectures.

Security & Governance

Incorporate security-by-design principles into application architecture.
Ensure solutions comply with organizational security standards, regulatory requirements, and governance policies.
Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to address identity management, encryption, authentication, and authorization requirements.
Perform architecture risk assessments and technology evaluations.

Technical Leadership

Provide architectural leadership and technical mentorship to development and engineering teams.
Participate in enterprise technology planning and digital transformation initiatives.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve business capabilities.
Work closely with product owners, project managers, and executive leadership to align technical solutions with strategic objectives.
