About the Role
A leading financial services company is seeking an Enterprise AI Platform & Control Plane Lead to manage and operate AI governance at the runtime layer, ensuring secure and compliant AI operations across the enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Build and operate the LLM Gateway for standardized and secure model access.
- Develop the MCP Control Plane for tool registration, permissioning, and policy enforcement.
- Manage agent registry, identity, and access management.
- Implement data-boundary controls to govern data access and prevent sensitive data egress.
- Establish runtime guardrails to prevent unsafe or non-compliant actions.
- Ensure audit-grade logging for model calls, agent actions, and tool invocations.
- Oversee model and provider onboarding, approval, and deprecation processes.
- Coordinate incident response for AI systems, including implementing a kill switch.
- Integrate with platforms like Microsoft Copilot Studio, Google Enterprise, OpenAI, and Anthropic Claude.
- Develop standards and reference architectures for scalable AI governance.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise architecture.
- Experience with platforms serving multiple internal teams, such as gateways or IAM platforms.
- Strong understanding of identity and access management and least-privilege design.
- Experience integrating with LLM providers and orchestration frameworks.
- Ability to define and enforce runtime controls and logging across distributed systems.
- Knowledge of security engineering fundamentals and fluent in AWS.
- Ability to translate governance and risk requirements into technical controls.
Pay
Pay Rate: $100 – $100/hr, DOE
