About the role
Traversal is the AI Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) for the enterprise, trusted by large companies to handle complex production incidents. Our mission is to empower engineers by reducing firefighting tasks, allowing them to focus on innovation. Our team includes experts from top universities and leading tech firms, united to tackle AI's toughest challenges.
Responsibilities
- Drive the end-to-end sales process, from strategic prospecting to complex contract negotiation and closing
- Develop messaging and collateral that clearly communicates Traversal’s value to technical buyers
- Work closely with the Sales Engineering team to deliver deep-dive demos and technical deep dives
- Act as the voice of the customer, providing feedback to inform product and engineering roadmaps
- Represent Traversal with credibility when engaging with SREs, platform teams, and C-suite executives
Requirements
- 5+ years in enterprise SaaS sales, preferably in technical products like observability, infrastructure, or developer tools
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in early-stage or high-growth environments
- Experience owning complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with a focus on technical decision-makers
- Strong technical acumen and ability to communicate effectively with engineering buyers
- Self-starter who thrives in ambiguous situations and takes a high-ownership approach to problem-solving
Nice to Have
- Deep familiarity with SRE workflows, cloud-native observability, or AI-native infrastructure
- Experience with product-led growth motions or bottoms-up sales models
- Prior experience as a founding or early sales hire at a startup
