Enrollment Information

The Shawnee Mission School District (SMSD) is accepting enrollment for its Pre-Kindergarten program for the 2026-2027 school year. Programs are available at 21 elementary schools across the district.

Device Requirements

Applications must be completed on a desktop, laptop, or tablet. Mobile phones are not supported.

Eligibility Requirements

• 3-Year-Olds: Must be 3 on or before August 31, 2026.
• 4-Year-Olds: Must be 4 on or before August 31, 2026.
• Kindergarten Note: Students who turn 5 on or before August 31, 2026, are not eligible for Pre-K and should enroll in Kindergarten.
