Enrichment Instructor - Mariachi (Effective 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR)

About the role

The Enrichment Instructor provides program enrichment classes in a non-core subject such as pottery, cooking, photography, chess, life skills or other.

Responsibilities

• Provide enrichment classes in a non-core subject.
• Ensure all classes adhere to educational standards and safety protocols.
• Engage students in interactive learning activities that enhance their understanding of the subject matter.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement enrichment programs.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements

• Knowledge/experience in the specialization of Mariachi.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.

Qualifications

• Prior To Start Date FBI fingerprint background check.
• Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
Internal candidates will transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language.
