Enhanced Family Foster Care- Socio-therapist

To provide direct services

• Provide direct services to children
• Assess children as needing therapeutic services
• Attend FTC and other related case conferences
• Assist parents and children in carrying out treatment plan
• Make home visits and collateral contacts
• Perform in-home and in-community behavior management
• Provide therapeutic and developmental support
• Support specific behavioral goals
• Create and implement daily experiences
• Promote self-esteem, socialization skills, and prepare for family unification
• Perform child/youth care functions
• Document progress notes in CONNECTIONS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years’ experience working with children and families
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Computer proficient
• Knowledge of Connections preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
