Responsibilities

  • Maintains and maintains quality systems, testing and inspection activities designed to assure that products, processes and services confirm and comply to corporate, state, federal and regulatory requirements, standards and practices.
  • Collaborates in problem solving efforts to correct or improve internal products, processes and services. Conducts and documents internal audits of procedures.
  • Creates, modifies and implements standard work and inspection methods. Recommends new equipment to ensure proper measurement and assessment of new product characteristics.
  • Maintains and reviews quality system records, documents and data. Makes recommendations for improvements and changes to product, processes or systems based on review of this information.
  • Assists and provides technical expertise for qualifying, developing, certifying and assisting both internal and external suppliers and vendors.
  • Provides work direction for Inspectors, Technicians and employees assigned to the Quality function.
  • Provides instruction and training and supervision to members of the Quality team.

Qualifications

  • 3+ Years Relevant Experience
  • ASQ Certification

  • Analyzes information and uses logic to address work-related issues and problems.

  • General experience working with SAP ERP Business System.
  • Utilizes a creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Demonstrated skills in problem solving.
  • Demonstrated project and time management skills.

Prior to Employment

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology
  • ISO 9001 Lead
  • Lever Practitioner
  • Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB)
  • Minitab
