About the role
The Middle School English Teacher provides engaging, standards-based instruction in reading, writing, speaking, listening, and language arts to support student achievement and literacy development. The teacher plans and delivers effective lessons, assesses student progress, maintains a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and differentiates instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners. The teacher collaborates with colleagues, families, and administrators to promote academic success, critical thinking, effective communication, and a lifelong appreciation for literature and language.
