About the role

As a FlexTech High School - Shepherd English Teacher for the 2020-21 School Year, you will be responsible for inspiring and engaging students in a unique educational environment that emphasizes creativity, initiative, and relevance.

Responsibilities

• Teach English courses aligned with the curriculum and state standards.
• Develop and implement innovative lesson plans that foster critical thinking and creativity.
• Collaborate with other teachers and advisors to create a personalized learning experience for each student.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching methods and stay updated on best practices.

Requirements

• Valid Michigan Teaching Certification with endorsement in English.
• Experience in a high school setting preferred.
• Passion for educational innovation and a commitment to student success.
