About the role

The English Teacher position is anticipated for the 2025-2026 school year at Wheatland-Chili Middle/High School.

Responsibilities

• Teach English courses aligned with the New York State Learning Standards
• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
• Assess student progress through various methods and provide feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional strategies and support student success
• Participate in professional development opportunities to improve teaching skills

Requirements

• NYS certification in 7-12 English required

Compensation

Compensation is based on Wheatland-Chili Federation of Teachers Contract and years of experience.

Effective Date

The effective date is August 26th, 2026.
