About the role

Noble is Chicago’s highest-performing and largest network of public charter schools. Currently serving 12,000 students, 99% of whom identify as persons of color, 90% from under-resourced communities, and 81% as first-generation college attendees. Responsibilities

• Create or execute curriculum that is backwards planned from academic standards
• Provide instruction that is culturally responsive and culturally sustaining
• Use data to refine curriculum and inform instructional practices
• Execute Noble’s student code of conduct with fidelity to create a positive, structured learning environment
• Teach and advise an advisory, typically meeting daily, serving as the primary point of contact for families
• Facilitate advisory meetings to assess students' progress toward promotion, foster relationships, and build a sense of community

• Self-awareness, a regular practice of reflection, and a desire to continuously improve
• Mastery of and enthusiasm for your academic subject
• A proven commitment to serving students of color and contributing to anti-racism in practice and disposition

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Eligibility to work in the United States on a full-time basis
• Active Illinois Teaching License preferred

Compensation ranges from $60,000 to $81,000.
