English Language Arts Teacher

Warwick School District is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Middle School - English/Language Arts Teacher starting at the beginning of the 2026/2027 school year.

About the role

Pennsylvania English/Language Arts certification is required. Previous experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Teach English/Language Arts to middle school students
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum standards
• Assess student learning through various methods and provide feedback
• Mentor and support students' social and emotional development
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and improve student outcomes

Requirements

• Current Pennsylvania English/Language Arts certification
• Pass a medical examination
• Pass a tuberculin test
• Pass federal and state criminal record checks
• Pass a child abuse history clearance

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Passion for teaching English/Language Arts to middle school students

Pay

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is 180 days per year, with a summer break.
