About the role

Santa Clara Unified School District serves over 15,000 TK-12 students, including those in Preschool through Adult School. The District covers an area of 56 square miles in the Cities of Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, San Jose, and Cupertino.

Qualifications

• A California Multiple Subject Credential or Single Subject Teaching Credential is mandatory.
• At least one of the following authorizations to teach English Learners is required: CLAD, BCLAD, AB2913 training (formerly SB395 OR SB1969) or SB2042 EL Authorization.
• Applicants without a valid credential the first day of the school year will not be considered.
• 30-day Substitute Credentials are not valid credentials for contracted positions in our district.
